  • Hello From Mexico

I have Internet this morning at the boys home.  There are 18 boys here from the age of 9'18.  It is very lively and they speak no English so it is hard to figure out what is going on.  But did you know that love speaks the same language no matter where you are.  The kids here have kind of captured my heart.   There is a set of twin girls her who have a baby brother who is very sick they are the sweetest!!!  Their mother is Bipolar and schizophrenic and she would beet her children well they took her to the hospital and  she is on meds now I can tell that she loves her kids but it must be so hard.  They are the sweetest girls They are identical and their names sound about the same to me and if you call one they both look!  Their brother Christopher is sick and I held him a lot yesterday.

I know that all of you know how I love Rowyn and have watched me take of her. well there is a set of identical twin boys that are 6 months old their names are Lane and Lonny or Lenny Well they don´t get held.  They prop their bottles to feed them well you know that I hold them While they eat.  Well they told us yesterday that we hold them too much and she took them ans put them in the walker and they screamed for an hour.   It broke my heart.  WE didn´t hold them that much I mean when you have 4 babies that are 6 months old you can´t hold them all of the time.

Okay one of the boys just shut the computer off and I just about lost all of this......Thank God that gmail does auto save every minute or so.

I need to go for now.  Write when you can!!!

    Unanswered Prayer

Nancy Leigh DeMoss: A number of years ago I spent months praying about a certain situation. When the answer came, it was the exact opposite of what I’d hoped.

In a case like that, it’s easy to doubt, and I did. Does God understand what’s going on? Does He care? Is He powerful enough to answer?

Of course, the answer to all three of those questions is yes. He knows everything. He cares about me, and He’s powerful enough to act. In fact, He’s wise, caring, and powerful enough to do what’s in my best interest, even if it’s not what I’ve been asking for.

Prayer doesn’t always lead to the answers we want, but it does give perspective to face situations without knowing all the whys. And in the process, we learn to know God and trust Him more fully. I know what it’s like to see heartfelt prayers not get answered as I hoped. But I know another thing, God can be trusted!

With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

About Me

  • I am a Christian and the greatest desire of my heart is to see people come to Christ. I want to be a missionary to a foreign land some day but right now I have found my mission ground here in Rhinelander. I run a daycare and I love each of these children dearly!
